Level 3 Kitchen Interiors is a full service kitchen firm, taking care of your kitchen renovation project from start to finish. We will remove and discard of your old kitchen and install your new cabinetry. We can, if requested, coordinate the countertop templating and install as well. Level 3 Kitchen Interiors has worked with several reliable trades people in the past and we are happy to recommend plumbers, electricians, drywall installers, flooring companies and whichever trade may be required for your renovation project however, we will leave scheduling such work up to our customers. Alternatively, our customers can choose their own trusted trades for preparing the space for cabinetry installation.

Upon being contacted by phone or email, we will respond within 24 hours (excluding Sunday) to discuss your project. If you feel comfortable with our approach and see in our gallery that we offer the type of kitchen you are looking for, we will work with your schedule to determine the best day and time possible for a meeting. The initial meeting will last roughly an hour; we will look at your current space, discuss any architectural changes you might be making, go over the ‘wants’ and ‘needs’ (we always tell our customers to have a ‘wish-list’ ready for our first meeting) and discuss your desired style and perhaps look at samples / pictures of kitchens you like.

Please understand, it will be difficult to give you any pricing details in the first meeting. We will need to return to the shop, put all the variables down, determine the amount of materials needed, time it’ll take to design and build your kitchen and rough estimate of how long the installation will take, which may depend on the size of your kitchen. We will then schedule a second meeting to discuss the estimate. If we come to an agreement, we will require a signature before moving forward. After that, the detailed design process will kick into gear; depending on the number of changes and revisions, this process can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks to several weeks, all depending on your availability and extent of revisions requested. Upon sign off of the design, the building process begins, which, depending on the workload at the shop and size of your kitchen, can take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks. During that time, our customers typically take care of any improvement or renovation work to get the space ready for installation. Once an installation date has been booked, the install should be completed within 2-3 days, with minor trim and custom pieces needing an extra week or so before the kitchen installation process has been finalized.

Reliable and Punctual

Every kitchen project is unique and comes with its own challenges. Our installers have years of experience and are able to handle even the most demanding scenario. We will inspect your space prior to booking the install to ensure all preparation work has been completed. It is crucial that any electrical, plumbing or other related work has been taken care of before the cabinets are being installed (it is extremely difficult to run new wiring or plumbing after the cabinets have been installed).

We understand that everyone’s time is valuable. We respect our customers and will make sure we are punctual at all times. If we are meeting at your house at 9:00 am, we will be there at 8:55. We expect the same high standards from everyone on our team. Our installers will always clean up at the end of each work day and after the installation has been completed, we will conduct a thorough clean-up. We are respectful of your space and should we have to cross any carpeted room or other sensitive flooring, we will certainly protect your home appropriately. We too have homes and wouldn’t want strangers to walk in and out with their work boots on without protecting the floor.

Level 3 Kitchen Interiors takes pride in knowing that we employ trustworthy, reliable and punctual carpenters and installers. A kitchen renovation project can be a stressful undertaking but working with a team of professionals who are friendly and respectful of property and time will put a smile on your face. We are here to make this a great experience for our customers while building kitchens that truly reward our customer’s patience.

Which ‘kitchen’ are you?

Some kitchen designers still focus heavily on the ‘work triangle’ and while this may work for some, it is not the solution for everyone. It depends on a number of factors:

>   your available space
>   plumbing
>   electrical and gas lines
>   traffic flow
>   and simply, how you prefer to work and move around

Do you prefer to constantly move back and forth and don’t mind turning around for every subsequent task, or would you rather move from ‘side-to-side’? In the end, the way it flows has to work with the way you like to work.

The importance of counter space. There must be sufficient food preparation space near where you cook and prepare your food. This will play into how your appliances should be arranged. One or two larger areas are better than three tiny ones. You need to be able to spread out without having to stack your items on the countertop.

The more space, the better. If the kitchen is well thought out, you will be getting the best of both worlds – a functional, beautiful looking kitchen with smart storage solutions, effective food preparation areas and a place your family and friends love to gather.

While there are many possible layout options, there are four basic scenarios*:

Single wall kitchens

Single wall kitchens

– often seen in modern condos

Double wall or 'galley' kitchens

Double wall or ‘galley’ kitchens

– works well if there are rooms to either side; it creates an open flow between adjacent rooms

L-shaped kitchens

L-shaped kitchens

– this layout can be very practical as the kitchen ‘wraps’ half way around you, making task perhaps a little more convenient

U-shaped kitchens

U-shaped kitchens

– if space is no concern, this layout will allow a more ‘pro-kitchen’ style, wrapping around you, giving you various workstations for many different tasks, all accessible within a couple of feet
